Letters of Appreciation
Tim, thank you for such positive feedback re the CEO Sleepout. As well as everything else, it was one of those “highlight” experiences. Because it was shared, it was also memorable. I think it was Jennifer Day from Wilson training, Hobart, who said “Yes, the Sleepout was a bit of an ordeal but it wasn’t horrible. Worse would be having to do this night after night ...”
Thanks again for your support on the night and the weeks leading into the Sleepout. You were a natural with Peter at the Auctions, I thought. Very few could pull that off with such spontaneity.
St Vincent de Paul Society

thank you for your support of RAWTas through the provision of a television community service commercial for our organisation with Tasmanian Leisure and Pleasure. The exposure for our organisation has been tremendous and your assistance in making this happen is greatly appreciated by all those associated with RAWTas.

The Dogs’ Homes of Tasmania would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your most generous support of the advertisement you recently made to promote our organisation.
When one of our staff members approached you to see if you would be interested in supporting an advertisement for us, you did not hesitate in agreeing to help our organisation.
The advertisement you so kindly tailored for us has no doubt provided the Dogs’ Homes of Tasmania with exposure we would not otherwise have received. The advert has definitely been noticed as we have received many wonderful comments on how great it looks.
Once again Tim, many thanks for your kind generosity from all of us at the Dogs’ Homes of Tasmania and, in particular, our wonderful doggies who enter our Homes at Risdon Vale, Devonport and Burnie.
John Gray, President
Dogs’ Homes of Tasmania
I am writing to sincerely thank you for being one of the sponsors of tickets to Circus Quirkus for residents of Ronald McDonald House Hobart. Your thoughtfulness ensures that we can continue to provide more than just a home-like environment for families staying with us while their seriously ill children are hospitalised in Hobart. The families who attended the circus had a wonderful time.
Penny Richardson, Executive Officer
Ronald McDonald House Hobart
I wish to give you an update on our TAHS/MENZIES TV ad campaign thanks to RADAR.
We have now been able to update the contact details of just over 250 TAHS participants (previously unreachable by all other means) ... This makes our RADAR TV ad campaign well worth it and outstanding – really just fantastic! We would simply not have been able to reach these individuals if it was not for your very generous and ongoing assistance.
I wish to thank RADAR for not only their ongoing support of our research institute, but especially the world#8217;s largest and longest running respiratory health study – the TAHS (www.tahs.com.au) ...
Dr John Marrone
on behalf of Menzies Research Institute
I wanted to give you a great update on our TAHS ad campaign thanks to RADAR!!!
Thus far, we have been able to update contact details and links with 77 TAHS participants (previously unreachable) and found about five new individuals (which already makes the campaign well worth it)! This is fantastic!!!
Thanks very much again for all your help and support.
Dr John Marron, Menzies Research Institute
Thank you for your recent generous gift of tickets to “Circus Quirkus”, hosted by the Lions Club of Hobart ... Your gift will help some Tasmanians living with disabilities, the opportunity to experience a live entertainment show they may not have been able to attend.
On behalf of everyone at OAK Tasmania, I would like to again thank you for your kind generosity.
John Paton, Chief Executive Officer, Oak Tasmania
I have just read the package Tim gave me last week.
We are most appreciative of the work Radar Promotions does on behalf of Beyond Blue. I will forward the material to Beyond Blue this week, to make sure our message remains focused.

It is with great pleasure I have this opportunity to thank Tim and the Crew at Radar Promotions for supporting me, Nature Nic, and my efforts to help save the Tasmanian Devils.
The opportunity to publicise and to get across my message to the whole state was so valuable. Radar Promotions gave me the ability to do this as a part of their community service to help a worthy charity cause.
I cannot express my gratitude to Radar Promotions who gave so much towards the success of Nature Nic’s Black & White Day. Thank you.
On behalf of the CleftPALS Tasmania, we would like to say thank you for supporting the smaller non-profit organisations. As you are aware, we are very small, and are in need of financial help, so that is why we need to put our awareness out there through Radar Promotions.
... we are very grateful for what you are trying to do.
Jonelle, State President, CleftPALS Tasmania
Extracts from emails received following the Heart Foundation Degustation Dinner
held on 28 Oct 2010:
A quick note to pass on my sincere thanks to you, Tim, for your support and wonderful effort in conducting our Auction at the Degustation Dinner last night. As I mentioned, we had hoped for an income of approximately $1,500 from the numbers we had. With your support we raised $3,360 between the auction and the raffle.
Again, many thanks for your continued support ...
Nicole Wighton, Events Officer, Heart Foundation
I was watching “Thank God You’re Here!“ and I saw the Burnie 10 teaser, Babies Get Walking and Tim Franklin’s Cardiac Arrest Ads all with in the space of 10 minutes. Freddie commented, for a small office you guys get a lot of exposure – I had to agree!
Graeme B Lynch, CEO, Heart Foundation, July 2010
Hi Tim ... Just wanted to say that I thought you did a great job last night. 10 points for you as auctioneer, and 10 points for me as barrel girl!
Maree Davis, General Sales Manager, Hobart Media Centre
I can’t thank you enough for the coverage you have provided. It is very much appreciated. The work that you do, not just for ourselves, but for so many charities around Tasmania is commendable.

Thank you for all your support to Loui’s Van over the past 12 months. Your kind gesture of free air time/exposure has been greatly appreciated. I’m sure it has helped raise awareness for Loui’s Van. My heartfelt thanks to you and the team at Radar Promotions.
Janelle Kava, Loui’s Van Co-ordinator, May 2010
I wanted to give you a further update on our TAHS/MENZIES ad campaign thanks to RADAR!!!
To date, we have updated contact details and links with over 110 previously unreachable TAHS participants and have found about 30 brand new individuals, making the campaign results just fantastic!!! We would have been unable to reach these individuals without your very generous assistance.
Today we received yet another participant who saw the ad last night on TV and rang in!
I will keep you up to date and thanks very much again for all your help and support!
