I wish to give you an update on our TAHS/MENZIES TV ad campaign thanks to RADAR.

We have now been able to update the contact details of just over 250 TAHS participants (previously unreachable by all other means) ... This makes our RADAR TV ad campaign well worth it and outstanding – really just fantastic! We would simply not have been able to reach these individuals if it was not for your very generous and ongoing assistance.

I wish to thank RADAR for not only their ongoing support of our research institute, but especially the world#8217;s largest and longest running respiratory health study – the TAHS (www.tahs.com.au) ...

Extracts from emails received following the Heart Foundation Degustation Dinner
held on 28 Oct 2010:

A quick note to pass on my sincere thanks to you, Tim, for your support and wonderful effort in conducting our Auction at the Degustation Dinner last night. As I mentioned, we had hoped for an income of approximately $1,500 from the numbers we had. With your support we raised $3,360 between the auction and the raffle.
Again, many thanks for your continued support ...

Nicole Wighton, Events Officer, Heart Foundation

Hi Tim ... Just wanted to say that I thought you did a great job last night. 10 points for you as auctioneer, and 10 points for me as barrel girl!

Maree Davis, General Sales Manager, Hobart Media Centre

I was watching “Thank God You’re Here!“ and I saw the Burnie 10 teaser, Babies Get Walking and Tim Franklin’s Cardiac Arrest Ads all with in the space of 10 minutes. Freddie commented, for a small office you guys get a lot of exposure – I had to agree!

Graeme B Lynch, CEO, Heart Foundation

I wanted to give you a further update on our TAHS/MENZIES ad campaign thanks to RADAR!!!

To date, we have updated contact details and links with over 110 previously unreachable TAHS participants and have found about 30 brand new individuals, making the campaign results just fantastic!!! We would have been unable to reach these individuals without your very generous assistance.

Today we received yet another participant who saw the ad last night on TV and rang in!

I will keep you up to date and thanks very much again for all your help and support!

On behalf of everyone here at Aurora Disability Services, I sincerely thank you for the ongoing promotional support you provide to our organisation. Assisting public awareness and providing such a great concept to the community is indeed a wonderful opportunity for a charity organisation such as ours to be part of.

To you and your staff, we simply and humbly extend our thanks. How else can we encapsulate our heartfelt appreciation for your support of our association?

Your inclusion of Royal Guide Dogs Tasmania in your Charity Television Program is of enormous benefit to our Association; utilising a promotional medium that would normally be well out of our reach to capture the attention of the Tasmanian community.

Your endorsement and support of the valuable work we do to support blind and vision impaired Tasmanians is greatly appreciated. Your generosity of spirit is an inspiration.

... The annual cost of running the van is considerable, being around $45,000 a year, which will be increasing this year due to the introduction of new services. We would not have been able to afford any television advertising and your offer to promote our service free of charge was extremely kind. Your generosity to not only us but other charitable organisations is exceptional.

Since the advertisements have gone to air, we have noticed an increase of people wanting to volunteer for Loui’s Van and the Society in general ... my heartfelt thanks for your support.

It is with great pleasure I have this opportunity to thank Tim and the Crew at Radar Promotions for supporting me, Nature Nic, and my efforts to help save the Tasmanian Devils.

The opportunity to publicise and to get across my message to the whole state was so valuable. Radar Promotions gave me the ability to do this as a part of their community service to help a worthy charity cause.

I cannot express my gratitude to Radar Promotions who gave so much towards the success of Nature Nic’s Black & White Day. Thank you.

On behalf of the CleftPALS Tasmania, we would like to say thank you for supporting the smaller non-profit organisations. As you are aware, we are very small, and are in need of financial help, so that is why we need to put our awareness out there through Radar Promotions.

... we are very grateful for what you are trying to do.

Jonelle, State President, CleftPALS Tasmania

Letter of appreciation from Meals on Wheels Tasmania

With regard to the ad that we now have seen running on commercial television, significant positive feedback has been received and I would like to take this opportunity to formally thank you and your staff on behalf of the Meals on Wheels family. The role of volunteers in our service is crucial and the Meals on Wheels service would look very different without that continuing community support.

I am led to believe that what you have achieved here may be unique within the Australian context and so, once again, the smaller island takes a leadership role ... well done.

Our very sincere thanks for the free television advertising you are currently prroviding for our flagship education program ruMAD (Are You Making a Difference?).

As you are aware, our organisation, like many non-profits, struggles to provide our services with very limited funding. Television advertising is not something we even consider in our budgeting and yet it is important to our ability to promote our programs and attract corporate and philanthropic funding.

Thank you once again – you are truly making a difference with this generous support.

Letter of appreciation from Muscular Dystrophy Tasmania

On behalf of Muscular Dystrophy Association Tasmania I wish to offer our sincere thanks to you for including our Association in the Community Television segment which you had shown on commercial TV for 6 months between late in 2006 to early this year.

Doing this at no cost to us was a most generous gesture from you. We are a very small, completely voluntary committee and would never have been able to afford a TV promotion at all, let alone to have such an extensive period of public exposure that your segment gave.

Anne Ashford, President,
Muscular Dystrophy Association of Tasmania

Just a short note of appreciation for your wonderful gesture in donating vouchers to various activities around Hobart to our children. These have been carefully distributed to families who we thought would make the best use of them and gathering by the response have been gratefully received and used by them.

Tim, on behalf of the special children of Camp Quality, please accept my heartfelt thanks for your wonderful support.
